The Media Center is one of the essential components of the Public School 128M located in the historical neighborhood of Washington Heights, on the upper west side of Manhattan, New York City.

The Media Center curriculum focuses mainly on media literacy and technology. It trains students from K through 5th grade in areas such as Digital Citizenship, Coding, Creative Writing, Journalism, and multimedia projects, among others.

The Media Center is for students to work on informational research, work on writing projects, work on group lessons requiring technology, work on multimedia projects, and show educational videos. DO YOUR BEST!

The Media Center falls into the same vision of P.S. 128M, which is to educate the whole child while instilling a passion for lifelong learning. We believe that children learn best when practices are purposefully connected and when they are provided with multiple entry points, in order to achieve high standards of academic excellence and to flourish into responsible and resourceful citizens.

We would like to acknowledge the support and contribution of many organizations and individuals that have partnered up and helped us along the way such as: Mr. Norm Sutaria from nycfirst.orgArpita Abrol and the Stuyvesant High School Team.
